Workshop Description
Understanding other people – what awakens and motivates them – what makes
them comfortable and approachable as well as what turns them off – is
perhaps the most important trait in achieving business success. Although each individual is unique, many behaviors can be understood
within a systematic, predictable framework. This workshop will teach
participants how to identify their colleagues' behavioral patterns so they
can work in harmony. Participants will learn how to: 1. Reduce stress in order
to get positive results from interactions with co-workers, managers and
associates; 2. Understand how our working style interacts with
the different working styles of others; and 3. See how others perceive us and
how the strengths of our own style can be enhanced to be more productive.
In the workshop, we also become aware of our style’s weaknesses and how they hinder
relationships. We learn to assess the styles of others and what they need
from us, and to improve collaborative efforts and reduce stress by
adapting to the working styles of others.
