Stress Management:
Understanding and Managing Stress
Workshop Description
Stress is universal
and natural. Recent epidemiological research indicates marked increases in
stress-related diseases. Burn-out, heart attacks, ulcers, decreased
productivity, depression, loneliness and cynicism are frequent symptoms of
stress. This workshop is designed to enable participants to identify the
stress factors in their lives, understand how they affect them and learn
strategies to manage them. We increase awareness of personal stressors and
reactions. We expand our repertoire of skills to enhance productivity, live
a more relaxed lifestyle and prevent stress-related illness.
We learn to identify and control stress triggers through the
development of a personal stress-management plan.
